Our local recommendations:
- At Errinundra National Park, explore ancient-growth forests, as you dip through pockets of mist-shrouded rainforest. At 1,000m above sea level in the far east of Gippsland, the park is often - quite literally - a walk through the clouds.
- Martins Creek Scenic Reserve is located at Toogoom on the northern bank of Martins Creek. The creek-line and lake areas are notable for bird watching and a total variety of 94 bird species to admire.
- Snowy River National Park has some of Victoria’s most spectacular river scenery, magnificent deep gorges, and diverse forests.
- Marlo is a peaceful seaside resort and fishing town with the historic Marlo Hotel overlooking the Snowy River. The coastal road offers stunning views and access to Cape Conran Coastal Park, featuring beaches, rocky cliffs, and excellent fishing spots.
- Located in the Snowy River National Park, in Victoria, Australia, the iconic McKillops Bridge is one of the most spectacular bridges in the world. It was a significant engineering feat at the time.

Farm Stay Guidelines
- We’re a working farm. There are heaps of friendly animals around that love humans.
- There may also be a loose bit of wire or a burnt post that we have missed. This is because the entire property was burnt in the Black Summer bushfires of December 2019. We are in the process of rebuilding and re-fencing, so please let us know if you come across a stray bit of wire or burnt post.
- Please do not feed any animals as it teaches them to become food aggressive (peacocks will start chasing children and horses will start biting)
- Again, do not feed Peacocks as they will start coming into camps and then get attacked by a dog and also trash your camp. They are better left semi-wild.
Snake safety guidelines
- We ask guests to follow these safety guidelines to prevent snake bites
- Avoid walking through tall grass or grasslands as snakes are abundant in the area
- We recommend wearing long loose pants and close-toed shoes such as boots and sneakers when roaming around the property
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- Please note that while there is no mobile reception in the area, most phones support WiFi calling and there is fast, reliable internet available for those who need to work during their retreat by the river.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
