«I stayed here for 2 nights with my family and booked last minute. Location was great and it was a clean and comfortable stay. If you have any mobility issues however, I wouldn't recommend as we stayed at the top which had narrow steep stairs. Other odd quirks were there was not one bowl in the room or kitchen. Also we booked for 3 people and arrived to a room with a fold out and had to find the bedding. We found a fitted sheet available (but didn't fit the fold out couch properly) and a blanket ...

«The room was comfortable, particularly the bed, although we did find some broken plastic under the sheet, not sure where it came from. There was no hot water from the sink even after running the tap for a while and the cistern to the toilet kept running after it had filled up. Saying all of that we would probably stay again.»

«Booked this for a wedding at the Harbour Hotel in St Ives. It's about a 30 minute walk if you don't have a car which was fine for us. The room is gorgeous but it does not come with nice shampoo or conditioner, not a huge problem but I assumed it would given the pictures and had to nip out to Tesco to get some. Otherwise it was perfect, amazing bath tub with a view.»

«We liked the place a lot. Optimally placed close to the city center, great service from very friendly owners who did all they could to make our stay in St. Ives perfect, nice and clean, excellent breakfasts. Highly recommended!»

«Everything was excellent and hosts were the best. However, we missed a place to sit outside, if only a small bench. Living room and common area was nice though, but the possibility to enjoy the summer evenings «at home» was limited. »

«We had a wonderful few nights in a yurt at the end of July. As a family of 2 adults and 3 children we found the space to be more than comfortable and spacious. The yurt itself was wonderfully furnished and the kitchen outside well equipped for all cooking needs. Hosts Kate and Terry were always friendly, approachable and on hand to help. «We have experienced a delightful stay at Halwell Lodge B&B, spending two comfortable nights in the Luxury Double Room, well appointed and perfectly presented, looking out on a lovely garden.
