«The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very attentive and very kind to allow us an early check in when there was inclement weather on the day of arrival. Our only complaint is that the whole time during our stay, the lift for the slope we were on was closed so we had to hike up the slope to get back to the house. I even talked to the resort and they said they don’t turn that slope on if there are not enough people at the resort as it is too expensive to operate. I hope the ...

«Location! Location! Location! This cabin is perfect for a family ski trip. It’s small (1200ish sq/ft) but you’re not there for the house. You’re there for the slopes! The house is located about 150 yards from the bottom of a blue run. We made the walk with a 12 year old and 9 year old in full ski equipment. THERE IS A SMALL CREEK YOU HAVE TO CROSS. «We absolutely loved the location of this property. We visited Beech Mountain to ski and the property is very close to the ski resort. We also loved the property’s amenities. The outdoor living space is amazing. The indoor wood burning fireplace made the space extra cozy.We traveled with two families and there was plenty of space for everyone. We also used the kitchen to make meals and it had everything we needed.The bathrooms are not on the main floor, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. ...

«Our family and another family shared this adorable space. Super convenient to Beech Mountain Sledding Hill, town, and ski resort! Kids loved the room with the bunk beds. The place was clean and comfy. Well equipped kitchen. Owners were fantastic — very communicative and accommodating to some of our requests!»

«Nothing but great things to say about the Cherry Hideaway. The house is located in neighborhood of other A Frames with placed between massive natural boulders that populate the area. It is a magnificent place to get away. Loved the design of the interior, record player and large deck. Location between Boone and Blowing Rock is ideal. Would definitely stay here again.»
