«Great Place to stay, right on the lake with a dock for the boat. Boat Ramp was 5 min away. The cottage had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Nice back yard on the lake with fire pit. Plenty of parking space in the front. Quiet dead-end road. Neighbors were very friendly. Will Definitely be back same time next year.»

«We had a wonderful and restful week at this cottage. Kitchen was well stocked beyond what we could have asked for. Plenty of paper products including tissues which as a nice touch. We enjoyed playing some of the games provided during the evenings and the property owner Erik was quick to respond when we had a question. The beds are a bit worn but we made due. If vacationers have mobility issues the stairs will be challenging to navigate. Thankful for our time away and even our 20 something ...

«This was our second year staying at this property and it was again a lovely stay. The house is nice and private, set back from the road. Super easy and convenient access to the beach. If you want a few more waves it’s a quick walk to another beach area close by. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy and Kathleen responded to any questions we had quickly. We hope to stay again next year! »

«Loved the mid century vibe and art inspired decor. The super quiet setting, connected to nature,was perfect, letting me decompress and recharge. The place is thoughtfully appointed. Being from the area, I really enjoy the character from the subtly luxurious design touches and scale, as opposed to the over the top opulence of big city accommodations. It fits well in the Bemus area!»

«I believe this is our 3rd stay at the Light Keepers Refuge, and we hope to return again. I could go on about the comfy beds or the accommodating space for friends and family while visiting the area, but its the fresh air that is gem of this property. The fresh Canadian air that blows through this home is truly restorative. You just feel better when you stay here. »

«We absolutely loved Aimee and Steve’s rental property. Rural and rustic, peaceful and quiet, it is a wonderful place to get away from the noise of the big city. If we had any questions or concerns (such as being awaken one morning to loud knocking sounds outside the house that turned out to be woodpeckers), Aimee replied quickly. With great hosts and a great property, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommended!»

«Casa Andante is just as it’s portrayed in the photos and more! Everything that you need is here. Kitchen very well equipped. Bedrooms comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms supplied with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, TP and plenty of towels. Even plenty of hooks for hanging towels! Our 3 generations enjoyed the kayaks and canoe daily and fire pit nightly. Younger kids enjoyed the shallow water close to shore but pretty sea weedy off dock. Easy walk to mini golf, ice cream shop and public park ...
