We love the location because it was central to so many areas… Dunnellon, Yankeetown, Inverness and Crystal River. We will definitely go back!»

«We stayed here in December to celebrate our son turning 11. It was perfect for us. We fished, and even saw the manatee right from the house. Other than enjoying a wonderful seafood dinner, we ate all meals at this house. We booked a swim with the Manatee tour with River Ventures (JJ was the captain and Shelia was our tour guide). Would recommend this trip!!!»

«Peaceful and fully equipped. Everything was great. No major issues. The only reason the cleanliness is getting a 4 out of 5 is because I went to wash the few dishes we had dirtied and the kitchen sponges were both gross and unusable. Obviously didn’t use them and found a disposable cleaning pad under sink. Also the guest toilet seat looks horrible. Besides these two things this place was Great and we could totally see ourselves coming back in the future for a peaceful weekend getaway. Hope this ...

«You'll want to stay here! Absolutely the nicest, cleanest, cutest, everything you need & more, place to be! From the moment you walk through the front door, you feel welcomed. It smelled wonderful, the hosts had a winter scene on the TV with jazz music playing (our favorite) & a wonderful surprise of a heart shape made out of rose petals & tea light candles on the guest bed! «We have been spending New Year's Eve at the Halls River for the past eight years but I think we finally found our home away from home. The place is perfect for our family of four, it's beautifully decorated and it has lovely outdoor and indoor spaces to relax. We were lucky enough to see manatees right from the deck and many more just a short paddle away. Needless to say we already booked our next stay! »

«Came to Port Richey area for son’s speciality therapy. The pool was perfect for him in a quiet, non- touristy neighborhood. My flights were delayed for a day and the owner was very kind and accommodating with my change in schedule. There was one unexpected issue with the electricity going off in the kitchen but it was resolved in a good time frame and the owner came over herself to fix the problem. «Relocated to Steinhatchee and stayed here while searching for an apt. Good location and Mary was very accomodating when I needed to tweak my stay requirement. Worth looking into.»

«It was the perfect; we saw manatees and dolphins right from our dock. It was peacefully tucked away with kayaks, outdoor propane fireplace and grill.»

« The house was perfect for our family. I loved sitting on the deck and listening to the fish jump in the river. Super quiet street - just the escape we needed - yet close to everything. We enjoyed the kayaks and the large yard. We had trouble with the front door keypad but Phil was super apologetic and took care of it immediately. We would definitely stay here again! »

«Thank you for letting us stay at your rental home. We found everything that we needed and then some! Your place makes a wonderful family get a way. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing and searching for the Manatees. They did find us and it was a very wonderful experience. We enjoyed being right on the river. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds are comfy. We had a relaxing time. »
