Luxury Blue Duomo is a prestigious luxury apartment for rent in Florence. The property is located in an exceptional location a stone's throw from Piazza del Duomo. Recently renovated with quality materials and great attention to details, this house can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people.
The apartment consists of three double bedrooms (in all there are a king size bed, a double bed and two single beds), all equipped with a private smart TV, a luxurious living room divided between a dining and a relaxation area, a kitchen and two complete bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower.

Everything was wonderful. We were only disappointed when we were told there was no dryer and the washer looked difficult to figure out. Other than that, it was clean, the rooms were cool, and the owners were helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed in this Florence apartment with 4 adults and 2 kids, and we had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. The location is fantastic—close to everything you want to see and do in the city. The sitting/living room area was nice, offering a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen, though small, had all the amenities we needed to prepare meals. Just a heads-up: there’s no elevator, which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for some. Also, the couch could have been cleaner, but it didn’t detract from our overall experience. The host was wonderful, meeting us at the apartment and giving us a thorough tour. We had a great stay and would recommend this place to others.

Don’t believe the photos….
1 Pro and Several Cons Pro: Decent location 7 Cons: #1 Dirty. The pictures are deceiving. The couch is very dirty and stained. #2 Poor bed linens - no mattress cover or padding on any of the mattresses. No fitted sheets. Only a top thin sheet was provided. When I asked for blankets (that are pictured) we were directed to dirty duvets without the proper covers - also stained and dirty. I asked for clean and new blankets I was told that is all that is available. #3 Mosquitos and other bugs - wow! Everyday we all got bit up like we were camping. Insane!! #4 SO loud - EVERY morning the garbage trucks pick up in front of the apartment and it is basically a wake up call from 6:00AM - 6:15AM and it is LOUD!!!! #5 - Washer Dryer - useless - when asked the property manager for help, they only provided me with a 20+ page instruction manual that didn’t explain how to use it #6 - No dishwasher detergent, no dish soap, no garbage bags and 1 roll of toliet paper provided for our 2 week stay #7 - over 25 stairs to get into your place To Ownership - spend some money to update you place and make sure the property managers treat your renters better and you won’t get bad reviews. We paid over $6,000 and to not provide us with basic necessities it not cool….

Great location, a bit noisy every morning, carpets and couch not very clean.
The location was amazing however the noise outside the master bathroom and guest bedroom over shadowed everything. Hard to sleep with all the noise. Carpets and couch haven’t been cleaned in a long time and show lots wear and tear. Checking in was super easy and the staff were very kind. We loved having lots of space traveling with our two kids everyone had their own room. I have back issues and the beds were very firm and hard to sleep on.

Great location and property
The location of this apartment is amazing. Literally a block from the Accademia. We were able to walk to see all major areas of the city by foot. It is tucked away on a narrow street that has the charm of Florence without the crowd. Apartment is great; equipped with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, AC in the rooms, and even has a washer and dryer.

Great location!
The luxury blue Duomo is just a few blocks from the Duomo and the Accademia. It’s very clean and the air conditioning worked. It has three nice bedrooms so would easily sleep 6. We did notice it is quite noisy in the early hours, so if that is something you wouldn’t like, then I wouldn’t stay here. I think the only things that were a little issue is we initially had issues with the door key and water backed up in one sink. The maintenance crew was ready to come fix it, but we just used another bathroom since it was just two of us. Really quite a nice space for the cost. We were so happy it was about a 15 min walking distance ( at most) to everything we wanted to see.

Great location
Traveling with folks with age ranges from 18 - 76. I was a bit worried about the number of steps for my mom but it was very manageable. It was a little farther from the duomo than I expected and given that my mom has limited mobility I was a bit worried about that but it wasn’t a problem. It was over 500m to the duomo… again not as problematic as I thought it would be. Just letting others know if you do have anyone with limited mobility. For most everyone it is perfectly fine. There were some mosquitos but it is just that time of year. Nothing to do with the property or the cleanliness. Very clean. Highly recommend. Super super close to the academy. For any US travelers you may want to ups yourself on using European washer dryer combos. That took us a bit to figure out

Fantastic location
Firstly, it's imperative that you download What's App for communication. Not just here, but virtually everywhere in Europe. I believe that might have been mentioned but I overlooked it. Despite that, we connected to check in seamlessly. THE GREAT- -We found the location absolutely perfect! It was walkable to everything we wanted to do and a safe neighborhood. -The apartment was exactly as described. Roomy, individual ac units in the bedrooms, well appointed kitchen. Also the best common area we experienced in our 3 weeks in Europe. -Washer/dryer. We were able to make the dryer work, but it did take many hours to finish a wash & dry cycle. Possibly this was operator error as we've never used an "all in one" unit before. Later in our trip we used a washer and a simple drying rack, I actually preferred that and it was impressively efficient. THE NOT-SO-GREAT- -We stayed 3 nights midweek and EVERY morning between 5-6 am the garbage was collected on the street below the 2 primary bedrooms. It was impossible to sleep through for us. -Between the 2 bathrooms is an alley-type area (although not street level) that is damp and foul smelling. You might not notice without opening the windows. However, I believe mosquitos and black flies are finding their way into the house through cracks around the windows. We were eaten up by mosquitos while we slept unfortunately. Check out was so efficient! We were simply asked to leave our keys on the table. No trash removal or dishwashing.

Luxury Blue Duomo was fantastic. It was spotless and well equipped. It had a true Florence flavour and was in the heart of the city. It was very accessible by taxi and close to great restaurants and sites. Eduardo was very gracious and always answered any questions immediately. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Family Getaway
The size of the apartment was perfect for our family. I was afraid the rooms would be too small, but that was not the case. Everyone had their own space to escape and have alone time. The location was amazing! Right next to several museums and the Statue of David. Walking distance from everything from shops, dining, the cathedral, and my kids favorite McDonalds. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Apartment in Ideal Location, But...
Apartment is beautiful, new, and well-equipped. Around the corner from the Accademia and within easy walking distance to all major attractions and to plenty of restaurants and bars. But not perfect, We were told it was on the first floor, but it is up a long staircase. The two largest bedrooms are in the front of the apartment and the street is noisy. Across from the apartment are garbage receptacles so you might hear people making deposits, particularly cans and bottles. Neither of these are deal breakers, but could factor into your decision if you are particularly sensitive. We thought it was a reasonable value and that the positives outweighed the negatives. Would certainly rent it again, warts and all.

lacking in amenities
Great location, right next to academia. The entry to the property and layout is weird. The check-in process might be problematic. Since next to the street, highly noisy with the windows closed specially with the early morning street cleaning. Lacking in amenities and not thought through. i.e no coffee machine, dishwasher is there but no pods or soap. There are lot of mosquitos, so there are repellent machines, but they are empty. Feels like the place is run by young kids who doesn't have much experience.

The location of this apartment was superb. We've stayed in Florence before but the location of this accommodation is unmatched. Everything right out the front door, museums, shopping, dining. Best location ever. I would stay here again and again. One of my favorite cities in the world, we had a perfect trip.
