«Dirt road/drive. Not a lot of room for navigation, but enough room to move around. The house was quaint and perfect. Check in was an envelope left on a table. Perfect! Serves a purpose for a one night stay. No refrigerator and limited outlets. Would stay again!»

«We loved the location for our Asheville visit. Property was clean, beautiful and well appointed. We loved the hot tub after walking hours on end.»

«It was peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Didn’t really spend much time there, was gone during days and got back each night around 8. When we where there, it was as it was described. The hosts were very accommodating and responded promptly to any questions.»

«This Highlands home was perfect for our weekend at the Food and Wine Festival:) Such a beautiful and cozy mountain home in a quiet neighborhood! Carole was super responsive if we needed anything at all, which we didn’t, but she checked on us to make sure everything was good. We will definitely be back here, and also check out Carole’s other listings!»

«A small but well equipped cabin at the end of a private road. A deck with table and chairs expands the living space. Very quiet location behind the owners house. There is a fenced in yard at this cabin perfect for a dog to explore. There is a barn and fenced area for the two horses. A large section of the pasture has reverted to natural plantings which attract a variety of birds. The road to the cabin runs along the pasture providing viewing and photographing opportunities. «Happy it was only for 1 night. While the property is beautiful it has some serious AC/Heat issues. The upstairs was miserable and the downstairs cold regardless of how we adjusted the thermostat. The dead mouse at the front door was interesting and not sure how whomever cleaned prior to us didn’t see it. The light outside is on a sensor and went off all night. There are blackout curtains in the room which help. Overall nice for one night but not sure we would have been ok more than that.»

«We had a wonderful stay at this property - modern, architecturally-designed interiors - very comfortable, well-appointed, especially a terrific bed. Property management is top notch, Important note: this home has three levels - and natural stone steps up to the front door. Need to be sure-footed and able to do stairs.»
