«Had a long stay at the property, the accommodation is very spacious and clean with loads of amenities. Locations is great with just a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The views from the living room bay wjndows is breathe taking. Would definitely recommend staying here »

«From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. Parking was difficult - in theory there is on street parking but there is a Vehicle Hire/Garage business next door so all the parking spaces are taken up by their vehicles. However there is plenty ...

«The apartment is located in a good spot to access town, the views from the apartment are stunning however, the apartment itself was not clean. The bathroom had mould growing, the towels didn’t smell great, the kitchen was tidy and had all the dishes we needed but in some places sticky and dirty. The couch in the living room was filled with crumbs and stains that were not ours! The cloth headboard in the bedroom wasn’t clean but the bedding and sheets were clean and smelled fresh. »

We enjoyed our stay We recommend a binder with info for those of us who are not used to UK appliances. Otherwise, great place, great location, well furnished, quiet…no noisy neighbours….great easy walks to train and shopping»

«Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd.»

«Great location for ferry and amenities in Rothesay. Extremely comfortable accommodation. The island is beautiful and the people warm and welcoming. Would dispute on street parking outside flat ad we got a £50 ticket.»

«This cottage makes a great base for exploring the Argyll forest and the local area. Host kept us informed, lots of info on the local area in the property. Has a lot of character and everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. »

«This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!»
