«The room was very nice with lots of room for luggage and it had all the necessary amenities as well as the little extras like cookies and chocolate. The hosts were great, giving us lots of useful information and the breakfast they provided was wonderful. The heated bathroom floors were a real luxury.»

«I can’t say enough good things about Shakespeare House! We stayed here after coming to Te Anau late from the Milford Sound area. With notice, the owners made arrangements for us to check in after-hours. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were so kind and gave us some great tips for what to see and do during the next leg of our journey. Highly recommend this B&B! »

«I could put up photos of the amazing view of Glenorchy and the surrounds but chances are that you've already seen them and are now looking for a place to stay. The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's close to walk and get a better view down the lake or up towards the mountains where sections of LoTR was filmed. «What a wonderful experience. This place was beautiful. Is out of town slightly but a short taxi ride was easily organised by our host. The breakfasts were devine..so much choice and huge.»

«The house is big and spacious and clean. Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen with pot, pans, utensils. Bonus- there were tea, coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil and soya sauce. The host gave some extra snacks. The beds were comfortable. Availability to use washing machine and dry clothes outside was good. The kitchens sink taps were the old 1960’s where hot and cold were separated. That was difficulty to manage. »
