«This was in a great location, close to town. We really enjoyed staying in this private oasis. We enjoyed how thorough Rick was before check-in and during our stay. The cabin was filled with resources on how utilities work, use of outdoor equipment, and household items to use (towels, extra blankets/pillows, washer/dryer). «4 of us stayed here for a week for a fishing trip in early October. We found the cabin to in excellent condition and very clean with an adequate supply of linens and towels. Perch fishing was excellent. We caught many 14"+ each day we were there in the weed beds between the cabin and Goose Island. Walleye fishing was slow during our stay but the ones we caught were all 19"-22". The cabin is somewhat remote, it is about 20 minutes from the town and Cass Lake and 25 minutes from Walker but ...

We were here when the fall colors were out and really enjoyed walking the nearby trails and the beautiful fall views from rooms and deck. This cabin's location is better than the photos in many ways, it's relatively private from the surrounding cabins and has a great overlook on the lake that's partially obstructed by trees, which I thought was a good thing (less boat noise from the lake).
