«We had 5 wonderful days at Renaissance in Carambola Beach. Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Two very good restaurants, both facing the beach, with options to sit in or out doors. Very nice beach and beach facilities. Snorkling OK immediately westwards from the beach, but fantastic at Cane bay Beach a few km eastwards. We rented a car and "did St Croix" in the morning/mid day, then relaxed in the afternoon and evening at the beach and in the hotel. Hope to be there again some time.»

«This was an excellent hotel in all ways, close to the beautful beach, nice and friendly people, clean and tidy etc. There could be one minus: we could miss the breakfast, but when you are a Norwegian, and there is a kitchen with all you need, you can walk into the charming city of Frederiksted and buy what you need, so compared to all the other positive things, this is not a problem.»

«Victoria House is a boutique hotel in downtown Frederiksted, right across from the water. The hotel is eclectic, beautiful and relaxing and it felt like home. Each room is special and welcoming. There is a small wading pool surrounded by nice pool chairs and tables. On site there is a bar called Ruff Night, run by a dog rescue and adoption group. Some days puppies are there! «Our cottage Castaways is a bit rustic but have all the basic things and is comfortable. They had some issues with water supply due to island wide outage, but it was fixed within a day. The beach is very beautiful, easy access and you can snorkel for hours right at the beach, lots of tropical fish, sea turtles. Our cottage was toward the back of the property, so very quiet. «If the photos of the place look good to you then you will love this place. If you own a pair of Birkenstocks and enjoy seeing hummingbirds you will have a great visit. Had a great time at the Inn and went snorkeling right at the bottom of the driveway. We had a room with no AC and just listened to the wildlife all night. Wonderful!»

«We spent 8 days on island and this was the perfect home base for the week. It's not fancy, but it has updated amenities, it's clean, comfortable, has everything you need, (including beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels) minutes from Christiansted-but away from the crowds. When we had questions we just texted the owner and she responded within minutes. Definitely recommend if you're on a mid-range budget. It's worth every penny...»
