2 BEDROOM COTTAGE WITH 2 FULL BATHROOMS

Enjoy our spacious and cozy 2 bedroom cottage with well equipped, full kitchen, dining area and comfortable living room. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. Free onsite parking for 2 cars. Relax on the patio with seating and gas grill. Washer and dryer are on site in the cottage.

We are dog friendly, any size! 2 dogs max. At time of booking, please let us know if you are bringing one dog or two dogs along. The fee for one dog is $115. The fee for two dogs is $165.

Our 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 6. There is a king bed in bedroom 1, a queen bed in bedroom 2, and a futon in the living room best suited for children.

Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, cart, and beach toys included! Free and fast WIFI that never disappoints. Books and games to enjoy as well as Free Cable TV.

We hope you'll love our location as much as we do! There is easy private beach access via our deeded path located just a few houses down the street or you can walk to Stump Pass Beach Park located around the corner and enjoy the day there walking on the beautiful nature path and stroll the beach searching for sand dollars, seashells and shark teeth. Grab a kayak and enjoy the day on the water.

Walk or take the trolley to several local restaurants that serve up delicious food and tasty drinks all day long. End the day watching the most beautiful sunset you'll ever see and then enjoy nightly live music right down the street.

(Our Manasota Key Beach House is a duplex with the choice of the 1 bedroom cottage or the 2 bedroom cottage. Or rent both for a total of 3 bedrooms that sleeps 10 people)

Property as described
Even though beach access was a short walk 8 houses down it’s all private beach. The closest place to set up is Stump pass (which is also close) but if you get there after 7am there is no parking and you have to drive north to Blind Pass Beach. Overall was a great trip and would probably stay again.

Pretty decent
Cute place, quaint with everything you need. Clean and just as advertised. Small but actually a bit bigger than expected. A couple things that would have made it better: The ac seems to be very old and can’t keep up with the Florida heat and there’s no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The place wouldn’t get below 79-80 during the day no matter what the thermostat was set at and it took several hours after dark to finally cool down. Luckily we weren’t in the room much during the day. The bed are a little uncomfortable, nothing a mattress topper wouldn’t fix.

Amazing location
The property sits so close to Stump Pass park and a wonderful beach access. As soon as you pull up, you can hear the waves and feel the seabreeze. At night, the sky is so clear that the star's are clearly visible. The property looks extremely cute pulling up and very comfortable on the inside. The shed is chock full of everything you would need to get to the beach! Nice surprise! We enjoyed our time there!

We had a great stay at this property! This was our second stay on manasota key, but the first at this rental. Everything was clean and as described. The beach access is a VERY reasonable walk, about 5 minutes from the door to the water. We would absolutely stay here again! We stayed with pets as well and everyone was very comfortable!

Overall, nice!
Cozy Cottage is in a great location, with easy access to a private beach area of the Gulf. It's nice to be able to walk to see sunsets, sun rises, Stump Pass Beach Park and to the town beach as well. We also found great restaurants etc in the town of Englewood. The owner is very helpful in terms of being great about responding quickly to questions. It was great to have beach chairs, umbrellas, etc to use, since we had flown to FL. The accommodations suited our needs, as we were more interested in the beach, nature walks, and being outside than in spending a lot of time inside. A couple of inside updates (for example, the sheets, although of course clean, were a bit worn) would make the property a little more welcoming. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage.

Nice cottage!
We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. Honestly, it was nicer than the pictures portrayed, and the neighborhood was quiet, safe, and close to the beach, which had private access about 8 doors down. We found lots of small sharks teeth - a first for us! We would recommend!

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the cozy cottage. I contacted owner various times regarding lack of cleanliness, cockroaches, filthy grill. Never heard back from owner. Also, furniture is old, dirty ,and smells. Requested partial refund , and of course never heard from her.

Loved Manasota Key
The property was very nice and we loved Manasota key. Very cute street. We did a lot of shark tooth hunting and found hundreds of the small ones. A beach cart was provided that made it easy to bring lots of stuff down to the beach. Also, the Stump Pass Park (short walk) was very nice. We brought our two dogs and though they were not allowed on the beach we did bring them a couple of times in the late afternoon (we had seen many other dogs being walked on the beach) and had no problems. The property owners suggestions for restaurants were very useful as well. Overall we had a wonderful experience. My only note would be that it would be good to have a little more toilet paper. With myself, my wife and three adult children the one backup in each bathroom is not quite enough.

December Stay
The property was not clean when we arrived. The floors had dust/hair along the trim throughout the house, the bathtub in the hallway had hair in the drain, and the spout was cracked/broken which was a hazard for our young children during bath time. The hallway bathroom’s drain cover was also broken and came out during bath time. We scrubbed the backyard patio table so we could use it for dinner. We did appreciate having beach toys, a cooler, and beach towels at our disposal because it was less we had to pack or buy.

Very comfortable. Everything needed was there. It was easy access to the beach. The beds were very comfortable. Should maybe have throw rugs inside the doors to help catch the sand. We wiped our feet on the outside mats and didn’t wear our shoes in but the sand got in anyway.

Great Property
Great property within walking distance to the beach. This property is part of a duplex but there must be great insulation because we could not even tell there was another family staying in the other unit. Clean unit with all of the amenities you need plus a shed that has beach chairs and umbrellas. Two ways to access the beach. You can walk north about 8 houses down and there is an access but these beaches are private up to the water so you can either walk the beach or sit with a chair at the water's edge. We had small children so we opted to go to Stump Pass State Park every day which is a 30 second drive or a 5 minute walk. Much better as you can do your full setup wherever you want along 1+ mile of beach. Definitely looking to stay here again in the future!

All Kitchen appliances need updating, patio landscape needs work, to many uneven blocks. Pots and pans need updating. Shed needs to be cleaned of unusable items - bikes, chairs need review. Management needs to pay more attention to property. Location and beach accessibility, including Stump Pass was convenient and great.

Perfect location!
This cottage had everything we needed for a nice beach getaway! It was conveniently located walking distance to the beach, state park and the restaurants on the key. We used Stumpy’s free ride sometimes and walked sometimes up to the bars. Easy to do both! It had a nice patio with Adirondack chairs to relax. Beds were comfortable although the extra blankets and linens we found looked dirty. Unfortunately, the red tide kept us from the beach all but part of one day so we cannot comment on the beach equipment nor did we end up using the bikes. Rikke was quick to respond to my questions and check in and out were a breeze. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
