«Stayed for a long weekend; perfect location and great amenities. We were luckily enough to see a red squirrel! The crows were a little annoying but very little you can do about that, they must have been nesting so we had our very own personal early alarm call! Would reccommend the cottage and would definitely go back if visiting the region again. Only thing to mention would be the mould that was starting to develop on the bathroom ceiling.»

«Cannot speak highly enough of this cottage in our favourite part of the Cotswolds. So many little features that the hosts have thought of to make your stay special. It was cosy and warm even when it was snowing a little outside. Amazing! »

«The property was spacious, clean and in good condition. It was in a very peaceful countryside setting with views of the sea from upstairs. The peace and quiet was very welcome as Cornwall is often very busy and it was nice to come back to in the evenings. Also having a swimming pool on site was a big bonus and the reason we booked. «Wonderful hosts, beautiful area, linens and cooking utensils provided, as well as a few tea bags and coffee sachets for a cuppa and a sit down when you arrive! easy self check in with amenable hosts. 10/15 min walk to the local high street, and ample parking space. a great self catering stay - does the job, i would happily recommend and stay again. thank you!»

«We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). Plenty of seating in the living area too with the sofa, armchair, and even an electric armchair which came in handy for my Mum! «Very pleasant 4 night stay in mid March. Weather kind to us. Beautiful local walks, no need to use the car during our stay. Planned to take the local bus to Appletreewick on Tuesday. Note it does not run on Tuesdays so went to Skioton!»

«My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Jane's house. It is a lovely cosy house with everything we needed for our stay and very central for visiting the main spots of the Forest of Dean. Jane is a super friend and helpful host and great with communicating. We would definitely stay again.»
