«We loved staying at this cabin. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very responsive. While it’s a rustic log cabin, the cabin is equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy. Strong WiFi connection. Lots of space for our family of 4 our dog. We loved being able to hike around the cabin and lots of other trails close by. We had daily visits by mule deer, chipmunks and lots of birds. «The pictures do not do enough justice to how cool the cabin is. I appreciate the detail that Greg put into the cabin. The fact they built the place themselves with wood they sourced and milled on the property makes it even better. The views are amazing and the property was very quiet and well cared for.Greg and Beth are extremely talented and gracious hosts.»

«I loved staying at the cabin. It is cute and cozy. It has everything you need to just relax and get away from it all. The washer/dryer were quite handy. While there isn’t a stove/oven, the hot plate and toaster/convection oven were sufficient for small meals . The owner was so helpful and kind. I loved meeting her pups. »

Make Sure you write down the 6 digit code from the owner as VRBO sent an incorrect 4 digit code and you’ll have to drive half way to Cortez to get a signal. Interior really needs an update We splurged 2 on 4 new wine glasses at the thrift store. Rustic ands bit messy. Good for dogs.»

«Due to the heavy snowstorm, there were issues with us being able to check in on time. However, the property manager was extremely communicative and worked with us to make sure we had a great vacation! The location is perfect, right next to Purgatory Ski Resort. We would stay here again. »

«Very nice propery between Durango and Purgatory. Well furnished with beautiful views and nice amenities including the hot tub. Easy access to the road. There are stairs to access the home, but that was not an issue for us. Overall, very pleased with this choice. We will definitely stay again.»

«We loved this property and the cabin itself. The only thing was the listing showed photos of a room with 2 bunk beds but there were only 3 double beds available, so one kiddo slept on the couch. He enjoyed sleeping by the fire though,so it all worked out. »
