«Better late than never. We stayed at this property in early July and it is a beautiful property. We had 3 families gather to celebrate a special anniversary. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, utensils, frying pans, etc. Table was big enough to have all 8 of us sitting together. Beautiful deck, sun or shade if you want. Major heat event while we were there, lots of time spent at the river. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have lots of bathrooms with 8 in our party.  ...

«This is a nice well maintained lodge in a beautiful albeit remote location. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The one thing that my family sorely missed was a washer/dryer. I think that for a house of this size in a remote location, a laundry would be a much needed addition.»

«We enjoyed our stay at hummingbird haven. Communication with Charlotte was quick and easy. We had no issues checking in and out. House was in a very quiet area. Windows were equipped with mosquito nets. Kitchen fully equipped. BBQ was working fine. Minor issues could be solved with the host. It was a very pleasant stay although the description of the house is a little bit misleading. It is in fact ohne big room with one sleeping room on a gallery above kitchen and living room, one sleeper couch ...

«Property was easily accessible, and a beautiful, quiet location in the woods. Owner (Nicole) was extremely accommodating and very communicative, ahead of, during and after our stay. We enjoyed the fully-stocked kitchen and games room, along with the wonderful boot/mitt/gear dryer and flexible sleeping arrangements. Thx much!»

«The cabin was very cozy set on a beautiful property with mountain views. It was a very short drive to town as well as easy access to three national parks. The host was so helpful with local information as well as allowing us to store our bikes in her shed. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore the area around Golden.»

«We liked the whirlpool and facilities at the reception - The receptionist was efficient and helpful. Access from the parking to the room was convenient. Traffic was noisy in the daytime ( a truck route) , but quiet at night. The room had chairs and a table for office work or meals. Although the motel was older, it was recently updated with paint, tiles and fixtures. It could have used more hangers. The location was convenient to Highway 1 and McDonald's but was not near downtown. »

«This place was so beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Would like to point out though, that the stair case, while beautiful, was not safe for toddlers. There is room at the edges of the steps, under the rail, for a small child to slip through. As a grandma, I was nervous about it. No incidents... just lots of held breath ;) »
