Management was very rude. I was having issues, they wanted me to pay upfront for my extension. They said "No Pay No Stay"
A customer checked in in front of me. They asked him if he wanted to pay now or when you check out. He opted to pay at check day.
I asked the desk clerk if I had the same option and he advised since I had already been there 4 days and paid in advance that I could pay for the 5 day extension at check out.
Later in the evening the manager stopped us and said "No pay no stay" he had the right to make the rules.
I then contacted customer service at red roof. They set me up with a reservation for the next five days, and advised that with this reservation I would be able to pay at check out.
I then contacted the front desk and gave them my reservation # and what i was told by customer service when i contacted them. The gentleman that answered the phone was confirming my reservation. The hotel manager took the phone from the clerk and stated, "Like I have already told you I don't care what reservation said "NO PAY NO STAY" this is my rules and you can check out now these are my rules."
We then packed up and left around 10:00 PM. we had already have pay for a night that we were not allowed to use.
As a paying customer I have never had a manager of an establishment talk to me the way he did.
