«Problems with straff coordination. We paid for breakfast in advance, but the buffet restaurant was closed. We therefore had to pay at the alacarte restaurant for breakfast, once more.»

«Excellent location and good clean pool. But the room has outdated furniture, a tiny TV, no normal clothes hangers (maybe 3 or 4, the ones they give you for free from Dry cleaners), a small refrigerator without a freezer with a temperature higher than 42, and no coffee maker or microwave. Very uncomfortable setup. The room is a good size for all of it.»

«Nice place, cozy, very small. Nice terrasse for breakfast etc.(breakfast not included, though. Buy your own at nearby Vons, Albertsson or several other places). Among the cheapest places to stay on Coronado. Management on site only during workhours (welcome letter taped to office door for check-ins outside of workhours). Perfect location on beautiful Coronado island. Outside the hustle & bustle of downtown San Diego. Yet only a 5 min. walk + 15 min. boat trip to downtown (or a $15 taxiride).»

«The property was very comfortable. Fresh breakfast every morning and happy hour with wine, crackers and fruit in the evening. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Park in the neighborhood for free. All staff were amazing. Definitely coming back. »

Better not stay here

"Worn hotel with relative small rooms. We stayed three nights, and did not get any housekeeping of the room. Upon returning to the hotel the 2nd night we let both the night maid and front desk know about the lack of cleaning, where the answer was that housekeeping could not be expected every day. We got a new set of towels to the room, but they did not bother to remove the old ones, nor make the beds or resupply toilet paper. Will not stay there again!"

"Large property but cramped rooms. The bathroom is tiny and there is not much space for luggage in the room. It also felt very humid in the room. Our biggest concern was the floor which was really dirty. Our white socks became grey immediately. The pool area was nice, but the jacuzzi could have been warmer for it to be comfortable. The employees were ok nice. The Mexican restaurant was the highlight of this property! In total the stay was ok, but I would not stay here again."
