First the good: the location was great, with easy access to
USAFA for our daughter's graduation. We had a long-standing reservation for another property that was canceled the day of our arrival. We found this house as a last-minute back-up. The property manager answered all of my questions promptly, allowing us to quickly make arrangements during a difficult situation. When we arrived, there were fresh roses on the table. They were so lovely, we thought they were fake! There was plenty of room for our extended family of 9, and the ping-pong table was a hit. The neighborhood was nice, with easy walking access to the lake, trails, parks, shopping, and dining.
Unfortunately, there was inadequate seating upstairs - the separated sectional sofa only had seating for four. in addition, the property was somewhat lacking in maintenance. The yard was weedy and some of the furniture was in disrepair. There was coffee in the coffeepot, some trashcans hadn't been emptied, and the linens didn't seem fresh. Fortunately, these problems were all easily fixed, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Since these issues weren't listed in other reviews, I hope that our experience was an anomaly. One thing that would have been helpful would have been a binder with information about the area, trash pickup days, and checkout procedures.
