«This is an older home but with many updates. Would have been a tight fit for 8 people, but was an excellent base camp for us while exploring the area. Host was responsive and helpful.»

«We were looking for a quiet place to spend Christmas and this was just the place. It was clean, well stocked, and in a lovely location. The hosts were excellent in communicating in a timely manner. We had an unfortunate situation arise with the people who were staying in the other unit. We contacted the host and she immediately took care of the situation. Thanks for a lovely stay!»

«The room was really small. No closet. Hooks on the wall but no hangers. Very few electric outlets. No phone. No attendant. On the plus side, very clean and quiet. Owner answered promptly when I sent a text. I felt the price was too high for this bare minimum but I expect it is so because this is summer, the high season.»

«We had a wonderful stay! Kelsey did a fantastic job communicating everything. The cabin was just as described, plus many west facing windows overlooking the lake for gorgeous sunsets over the fall colors. Easy drive from Minneapolis. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy the water. »

«We loved our stay at this property! The property owners were so friendly and accommodating, and the cabin was very comfortable and clean and impeccably kept. We are already looking forward to staying again next year - it was beautiful and quiet and so relaxing. We highly recommend this place! «We chose this house for the location as we were attending the fall festival in Amery and visiting the casino which were both about ten minutes away. Also it had enough beds for all 6 of us to have our own. A few things that we thought could be changed was not all the windows had screens on them including the sliding glass door to the deck. «This was our family's 4th annual Christmas stay at this property and, as usual, we all had a great time. The house was clean as usual and the views of the frozen lake was beautiful even if the lake was semi-frozen over and there was no snow to deal with. Plenty of room for our 14 people.
