«Our overall experience was great. The staff are friendly and helpful the optional meals were excellent, and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and the pool. Be aware: the rooms are not air conditioned. The rooms have screened windows and a ceiling fan, which we found to be adequate in mid-June. »

«It is exactly as the photos show. I arrived late, was walked to the hut (I guess that’s what you’d call it), and I admit I was skeptical of how well I’d be able to sleep with no walls to keep the bugs out. No bugs bothered me at all. In Texas you’d have thousands of mosquitoes, and flying insects but here, none. The singing of the tree frogs in the forest put me to sleep and I slept better than I have in at least a year. «La casa esta bien, pero hay cositas que arreglar por seguridad como las puertas que no cogen los seguros bien, habia polvo en ventanas y no se veia que habia sido limpiada antes de recibirnos, la ventana de la cocina necesita poder cerrarse para que no se escape la llama de la estufa y entra mucho sol por esa ventana (alguna cortina). Deben sugerir las mejores rutas a tomar para llegar a la casa dependiendo de donde venga el huesped, el GPS te tira por las peores carreteras. »

«We decided to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city for a few days and enjoyed our stay. Be prepared for curvy mountain roads. «Reinaldo and Iris, the couple who rent the apartment, are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ciudad del Tomate. «If you are wondering if you should book this beautiful home. Stop wondering and just book it you wont regret it. The pictures are beautiful but in person it is breath taking. The view alone is amazing and the house just as beautiful. My family and I stood for a week and wish we could have stayed longer.
