«We checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday everything was clean and ready for us we swam in the pond, did a bunch of fishing (bass were biting before dark every night) we hiked to the little water fall on the property, and celebrated my daughters 13th birthday with family, had a big sea food boil enough to feed an army and made enough memories to last a life time! «Our extended family enjoyed our stay in spite of the few rainy days. The house has plenty of space and invites small group conversations as well as gathering of the clan for meals and activities. «My husband and children, along with my two brothers and their spouses, rented this house for the weekend to be nearby to where my dad was getting remarried. The location was great as we were only four miles from the event. The house was very clean and cozy. Everyone had a bed and plenty of space. «Wonderful weekend at a wonderful property! We wanted to escape for some peace and quiet, just the 4 of us, and Blue Elk Lodge delivered! Spacious kitchen/common area, very comfortable beds and linens, and everything we could need or ask for! Only there for a few days, but enjoyed walkabouts on the property, met a very nice neighbor and ventured into Clifford and Carbondale. Would definitely return!!!!!
