The hotel is located in a worn and poor area and we was surprised to see the low standard of the hotel. «Here to debunk all the bad reviews: For peace of mind, we brought bug traps I had on hand and checked them periodically throughout our 5 night stay to find not a single roach or spider. «Truly the best deal around for a stay in Hawaii if you have a rental car. It's out in the country but minutes from west side beaches, food trucks and stores. Down home, regular folks place, with full kitchen and all the usual amenities. Very quiet and private except for tons of birds in the morning! Owners just as nice as can be. Pay 4+ times more for Disney hotel room 25 mins. away or just drive there from here! The best.»

«This was a lovely rustic little house. We loved that it was so close to everything in Laie, so we didn’t need to spend hours in the car. The host gave excellent directions for finding the house, which is helpful, since it is on a country road. Bed was comfortable. Great shower. Wake to the birds singing every morning. Host was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. »
