«I had the pleasure of spending the Christmas holidays at Black Bear Chateu in Colorado Springs. The home was beautiful and my host, Mary Louise, had decorated my home with Christmas lights and decorations which made me feel right at home. The property has everything you could ask for including bedroom, kitchen, televisions in the living room and bedroom and deer and turkeys that visited every morning. «We had a very nice time during our stay at the Treehouse! The place is really well equipped in the kitchen, everything was so clean, the bed is very soft, and squish and it was a nice place to hang your hat. The furniture in the living room is very basic and not overly comfy, but you probably won't spend much time there. «Beautiful home in a great location. Just as described. We arrived during a snow storm which would have been lovely to experience in this well appointed home had we not had a schedule to keep with a wedding to attend. We wish we could have spent all 3 days in the hot tub, using the fire place and just viewing the beautiful setting. «This little place was cozy and perfect for a getaway! It has everything you need and the hot tub is great. The location feels very secluded, but it’s less that two blocks from the heart of downtown Manitou. I only got my car out once in four days and just walked everywhere. The hosts were very communicative and checked in to make sure I had what I needed. »
