«The only real problem was my inability to change the number of guests. My mistake, I put 1, and it should have been 3. On Vrbo site, I was unable to change this. So we had too few towels. We had such a wonderful time, this was no problem. A sense of peace and harmony prevailed. You are so close to the beach, you feel a running jump would get you there. Thank you for being reborn.»

«Great time with our stay, cleanliness was rated 3.5 due to dead bugs, cobwebs and smell. Would recommend more privacy for hot tub. Garage door bolt broke free and a bolt hit my vehicle. Also had to ask a homeless gentleman on drugs to stop digging through outside recycle for cans at 6:30am our first morning there. Great location and beach access otherwise and did enjoy our stay. Lots of good laughs. thank you»

«Property had a great location. Only negative comments are that the hot water heater was not hot enough ( temp should be turned up ) , there was mold on several of the shower curtains and the gas grill needs to be replaced. »

«Cute house, great location. Loved having the hot tub and all of the things for the kids like a pack n play and feeding chair. The only issue was the house smelled really bad like BO even after buying and using a whole can of febreeze/odor eliminator. Other than that I would definitely stay again. »

«Location, location, location! Sandcastle is situated just mere steps from the beach along the Ecola River, an estuary flowing out to the Pacific Ocean. My wife and I and dog enjoyed several hours in the midday sun at the beach mesmerized by the vast variety of seagulls, ducks, and pelicans. There must have been at least 2000 birds flying or wading around the estuary. It felt like being at a nature reserve. This was an experience we will never forget, the highlight of our stay at Cannon Beach. ...

«We absolutely loved this house! We will definitely stay here again in the future. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the upstairs living area was the real stunner! The ocean views were fantastic. Very peaceful and quiet. My only suggestion is that the cookware needs to be updated, the pots and pans are all old and there weren’t standard cooking utensils. «3 old geezer sisters gathered after 2 years. The rental house was clean and well stocked for cooking, BBQing, hot tubbing, and relaxing rain or shine. Beds were very comfortable. We watched the Presidential debate (yeah) and football. The extra light helped us complete a few puzzles. Access to the beach was close, but for old folks there is better access in town. I’d come again….rain or shine.»

«Calming sound of ocean waves a few hundred yards away. Functional and well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms and living room. Original impression was, however, that it had been tidied but not cleaned. There was a good deal of debris on the carpets and floors, and there was fine beach sand on the couches and on the dining room table. We got over it. Nice hot tub, and a neaby forest walkway. Be careful not to trip on the roots crossing the pathway... like I did.»

This house is not oceanfront, it's across the street from the beach with a view of the ocean. You walk across the street to a public path that takes you to the beach. It's also about a 20 min walk into downtown Cannon Beach, not a 1 min walk.
