«Enjoyed a nice quiet family week here in August. Pool area was great for the kids. House location was quiet and Alora town a few minutes away in the car for coffee/meals and a good supermarket. Despite the August heat, the house stayed relatively cool inside and aircon in the rooms etc.»

«The views from this place are amazing, the pictures don't really do it justice. The house was new, well decorated, and has everything needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked for seven people and had all we needed. We loved experiencing rural Spain, and Christobal was a fantastic host!»

«Loved this house and setting! Quite a trek to get there but worth it once you see the views. Only negatives were that it was COLD and windy in Feb and the heating is really dependent on one wood stove in the LR. Also electric heaters in bedrooms to take chill off in pm and am. Landlady was very responsive and helped a lot with suggestions for local restaurants and sights. Lots of dogs barking (a la France!) otherwise very quiet and peaceful. »

The childrens play area was also very shabby and apart from a few toys for the little paddling pool there were no other toys in the villa. «We booked last minute and the whole process was very smooth. The owner and property manager are very communicative and helpful. The house is lovely, modern and well equipped with top quality appliances. It is very clean. The pool area has just been upgraded and is superb . Just the right size for a swim and cool down . The pool was a real hit and we spent plenty of time sitting out and admiring the view. Yunquera itself is a traditional Spanish village with a small supermarket and a number of other shops.
