«We booked this pub/hotel for a two night stay due to going to a wedding at Hallington Mill a venue approximately 15mins drive away. Arriving on a Friday afternoon we received a lovely friendly welcome and had a evening meal on our first night. We stayed in room 7 a fantastic large bathroom which look brand new. Every member of staff we had dealings with very friendly and helpful. »

«The bed was comfortable and clean. Nice decor. Chairs were not comfortable, too low. Nobody on the premises during the night. No emergency phone numbers supplied. Very little in the way of literature about the area. Security of residents’ rooms was questionable. Members of the public had access to the stairs near the front door to the bar.»
