«First of all, the staff were so lovely - the gentleman that greeted me was so friendly and helpful, he really brought a smile to my face. He was also the person that bid me farewell as I left and was just as pleasant then, leaving me with a really great impression. The room was small, but very clean and totally perfect for a solo traveller like me. «Our family had a great stay at the Hermitage hotel. The service was very good and we also enjoyed the pools available at the connected hotels nearby (Suncliff and Cumberland). With its location only a few metres from the beach and the pier you will have most activities within walking distance. We wold recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Bournemouth. »

«Great hotel between Bournemouth city center and the beach, with friendly and service minded staff. The food in the restaurant is brilliant and the chef goes out of his way to make great food for his guests, provided he has the ingredients. Note that some rooms had defunct AC at the time of our visit. And if the hotel is the venue for a wedding party on a Saturday, the kitchen and bar is overly busy and there will be some noise in the rooms upstairs.»

«Nice modern hotel with spacious rooms. Good cleaning and friendly staff. No room-service but you could order food and drinks from the reception and they would call you when to collect it 24 hours a day. Under 10 mins walk to city center and also to the beach.»
