«The house was very well equipped with everything you'd need for a relaxing stay! The kitchen was stocked with quality cookware which is rare in vacation rentals, but I still like to cook on vacation and that makes a big difference. The living area was cozy as well as the screened in porch making it easy to have a place to chill after a day out. I’d definitely come back.»

«Amazing sunset and sunrise views!!! Wonderful location atop the mountain. Great romantic getaway. Driveway is one lane and a little treacherous in some areas, I would not recommend driving a low car. Great communication and check in was easy. »

«We were in town for the Red Clay Strays concert at Harrahs Casino. Enjoyed Bryson City shops and restaurants. Convenient to the concert venue and would stay again.»

«We really enjoyed our stay! I came to town with my 17 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter to view UNC Asheville. The property was the perfect location! Close to campus for the tour and everything else we wanted to do. Short drive to the Western North Carolina Nature Center, which we loved visiting! Perfect spot for our family trip. «Our family needed a quick getaway after an eventful last 8 months and this was perfect. Trying to find time as a family for 3 grown boys with busy careers and one married is impossible except when it comes to the Lake House. I gave them the dates and they made the time to show up. We checked on Friday and by 4:30PM the boat was at the dock and tee times were made for two rounds of golf. «My wife and I really loved the location of this house. Only took 10 mins to get to downtown. It was quiet and private, even though there are houses all around it. It had everything we needed. The bedroom was a little awkward with the size of the room not allowing for things like a larger bed or side tables. The host was very communicative, and was very accommodating when I screwed up the dates…twice. »

«Hard to rate, had unusual circumstances. Arrived late, had hard time getting in door. Code was right but lock wouldn’t engage & open up. After 20 attempts, it magically worked. Once inside, contacted the 800 number since no one on site. maintenance person lived hour away…but (un)fortunately was already on his way b/c another family was unable to get into their room.
