«In a town with relatively few accommodations, this house is a standout. A new kitchen and bathroom enhance the charm of the wood floors and original staircase. It's well-located too--just a few walkable blocks from downtown Frederick. The three of us each had our own bedroom and the layout was perfect. Ed was so responsive both before and during our stay. I highly recommend this property if you're looking to spend time in Frederick.»

«Absolutely a great place and location. Our plans completely changed after getting 6” of snow and then a deep freeze, but we were comfortable and were able to prepare all our meals with the equipment and utensils provided. Communication was great, check in easy and no extravagant check out demands. Can’t wait to come back »

«The staff and property were wonderful. Everyone was so helpful; it was nice to be able to walk up to the restaurant and see the amazing mountain views with fire pits and lookouts. It was an added surprise to see the home decorated for the holidays! »

«We stayed at this property during our annual visit to Leesburg. We enjoy the downtown area (easy to walk) and catching an Uber to the local vineyards! House was perfect for our group of 5. Majority of our time at the house was spent sleeping, but we all felt comfortable and had enough space. Three bathrooms were great! »

«Perfect for the weekend getaway we were looking for! Beautiful guest home that was very clean and was well stocked with anything we might need. Only one issue was there were lots of stink bugs in the house but I imagine in the winter that would be more of a problem then in the warmer months. »

«Overall this was a great place for a getaway with my husband! The cottage is very well done. It's incredibly clean, well stocked, and the furnishings and supplies are quite nice. The view is absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. The "downsides" were that a bridge is under construction until late 2025 in the area so it takes longer to get to any stores. The last 5 minutes to the property are complete gravel roads and the very last part is a little steep. It's secluded but there is a house next ...

«Overall we loved the place. The beds slept great even the sofa bed. They had a nice thick memory foam for it. The grounds were beautiful and we had a garage to pull into to get out of the weather. The only complaint one of the girls had was the shower was not for big girls. It was a tight squeeze but we totally enjoyed it and will rebook in warmer weather. »

«I have never felt more welcomed at a VRBO. Our host, Linny, goes out of her way to make you feel at home. From the excellent communication starting from the reservation and continuing throughout the stay to farm fresh eggs, orange juice, muffins, and wine awaiting our arrival. «We stayed for three nights over a long weekend, arriving on Friday night and leaving Monday morning. 8 adults and six kids between 5 and 12. Check-in was easy. Location right next to the brewery was great. House is very big and well laid out. It does indeed have great views. A couple of things held this back from being 5 stars. «It's was great. We visited family in the area. And had our family Christmas together at this place. We played ping pong and pool when we where there. Great location for dogs. Plenty of space to run and play. The house was great as well. Plenty of space for everyone.»

«We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed.»
