Lake Hume Getaway, by the town of Bethanga, is a 30-minute drive from Albury City. This comfy tiny house retreat presents views of Hume Dam and Lake Hume from the verandah. Surrounded by attractions like the Albury Botanic Gardens, Tallangatta, Woolshed Falls, and the Murray River, it's perfect for adventure and relaxation. Engage in water sports, explore verdant gardens, or hike scenic trails. Experience this remarkable retreat's rhythmic lapping of lake waters and the Victorian escape.

A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny house and surrounding areas. Access to the main homestead area is restricted.

Lake Hume Getaway can be found by the town of Bethanga. It’s a lake side retreat just 30 minutes from Albury city. Look for it near Lake Hume's expansive waters and awe-inspiring dam wall. The region is known for its active outdoor lifestyle, with water activities like wakeboarding, water skiing, and paddleboarding. Enjoy the community's spirited atmosphere, where fishing and family barbecues by the foreshore are a way of life.

- Hume Dam offers a walk across the 1.6-kilometer wall for breathtaking views of Lake Hume and the River Murray. Enjoy the scenery from the northern viewing platform.
- Explore Albury Botanic Gardens' natural beauty, with over 1,000 species, colorful beds, and meandering paths. Families will love the interactive dinosaur, fairy temple, and troll cave among enchanting gardens.

- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- Smoking is not allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Guests are kindly asked to take their rubbish with them upon departure
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra; no signals for other telco lines
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Keep in mind that gas BBQ grill and outdoor fire pit are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
