"Slopey Seconds" Riverfront condo with balcony near downtown Bend

Welcome to "Slopey Seconds," a top-floor riverfront condo in downtown Bend. This vacation space features a ski rack and is perfect for skiers in the winter and we suppose snowboarders, too. We'll just say they can have slopey seconds.

The condominium can sleep four. There's a queen bed in the riverfront section. A separate bedroom has a king bed. Guest love this space because it features two separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms. A full kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. The condo also comes with a gas fireplace and of course the balcony.

The Bend Riverside Commons Condominiums line the Deschutes River and are directly adjacent to Pioneer Park. You have plenty of room to stretch your legs on our grassy patio or in the park next door. Take the riverside trail north or south for a refreshing taste of the outdoors. The proximity to downtown Bend cannot be understated. You can walk to numerous restaurants, pubs and downtown boutiques in under ten minutes.

Our property does include an indoor heated pool and hot tub which are open daily so don't forget to pack those swimsuits!

Basic cable will be provided in the rooms, that means your basic set up of analog channels. You are, however, most certainly welcome to bring your own streaming device, all tv's in our units are flat screen with HDMI hook ups. (HDMI cords not included in room)

Nice location
My family enjoyed our stay. The property is adjacent to a nice park which connects to a path along the river. It was a short walk to nearby shops and restaurants. When we needed to drive to more distant locations, it was easy to access US 97. Parking was convenient. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. The unit is not fancy or.super modern, but it was safe and comfortable.

Great Stay!!
The listing was exactly as advertised and maybe slightly better. We were so happy there! The kitchen had all the amenities needed. I loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings listening to the river. The house was clean and organized, and we would love to stay there again!

Excellent location but not worth the price during peak season
The listing pictures made the property appear much newer than it was. The property was on the third floor but that wasn't clear from the listing. We had to drag our luggage up and down the stairs. The bathrooms were cramped and the hallways leading up to the property were more like a cheap roadside motel than a luxury resort (the prices were at that range). We stayed during peak summer and the price per night was significantly higher than the average price shown. But the experience wasn't worth the price.

Great location!
My dog and I stayed for two nights and it was great. The condo is right next to the river and a trail that goes along the river. Pioneer park is also about a block away and was great for quick potty walks for my dog. Close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants.

Perfect spot for a bend weekend
My friend and I stayed here and were pleasantly surprised by how the place was divvied up, we both had our own bed and our own bathroom. It was very nice.

Amazing location, river views and walk to downtown
The location was absolutely incredible - right next to the river, an easy 10 minute walk to downtown and very quiet and peaceful. The space was stylish (apart from the main bedroom, which was a bit bare and dated) and the balcony was great for fresh air and watching the river. The apartment was spotless apart from a couple of dirty kitchen items we found during our stay; otherwise everything was great. One unusual thing is that there were no hooks or places to hang clothes anywhere - for coats, towels, clothes, etc! Adding those in would make it close to perfect ☺️

Great Location
It was really nice to be right on the river and Dechutes River Trail. Such a great location to walk to town. There was plenty of space for myself and my teenage son to hang out! Fees make it a little spendy, but worth it!

Peaceful w/ an Excellent Location
Great place if you enjoy the sounds and visuals of a beautiful river. Getting up to the unit really isn't that hard (two flights of stairs) and the payoff is totally worth it. Our family really enjoyed the fact that the property had extremely easy access to the River Walking trail. It was a wonderful way to start our mornings (walking to get coffee) and end our days (walking home from restaurants in Bend). Would highly recommend staying here.

Great location and close to downtown Bend
The location of this property was wonderful. We liked it was along the Deschutes River and our feet were just a few steps into the water. The area is very quiet considering it is next to a park. Downtown is a short walk or drive. Management was quick to answer our concerns. The condo had been updated and plenty of space for the 2 of us. Had all the kitchen supplies stocked. Great view from the deck made the evenings enjoyable. Our main complaint to management was the interior was not clean. The floors were filthy, couch had dried food stains, countertops and other surfaces was not clean and dog hair everywhere. We spend over an hour cleaning the unit. Management came over and let us use their vacuum cleaner and mop. They offered to clean the place but I said I wouled do it. I vacuumed the bedroom carpet and that was never done. The canister was 1/3 full of dog hair. The wet mop rags given to us to use were brand new and after mopping the floors it was filthy. I did walk over to the main office to show them so they didnt think I was making all this up. The GM was very nice and offered to return our cleaning fee. I would stay at this location again but with lower expections. It was my fault for overlooking it was a pet frienly unit but there is no excuse for this until not to be thoroughly clean before our stay.
