It’s within a very short walking distance to everything you could want for a beach getaway—a restaurant literally outside the front door, a nearby beach entrance, a park for the kids, and a grocery mart just five minutes away. «The place is exactly as pictured, and even more charming and comfortable in person. The location is perfect, close to everything but serene and peaceful as well. It's less than a 10 min Uber ride from Berkeley (we were visiting our college kid), and we had no problems getting rides. The communication from the host was above and beyond, which we appreciated. Overall I'd give 10 stars if possible, and we definitely look forward to coming back to hopefully check out more of the surrounding area, ...

«The only drawback of this place is that parking on the lane, if you have to carry luggage etc, is impossible, as there is no place to turn around without executing a 12-point turn. «The host, Eda, was an absolute delight. At the beginning of our stay, my wife had a fall at the place we were staying the night before we arrived at Eda's, and was unable to get around easily. She was most kind and caring about our situation and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The property is very relaxing with lots of plants, outdoor furniture, a hot tub and lots of visiting birds to watch (particularly the hummingbirds)! We would definitely stay again. ...

«The hotel pobably is 1960ies, and it totally looks that way. It is clean, but it is in dire need of some upgrades and remodelling. The rooms and kitchen are large but worn, cupboard doors come loose etc. The breakfast is a joke, but then again most guests probably make their own meals in their rooms. Note however, there are no kitchen utensils. Good thing is that it is close to airport and restaurants.»
