«Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. »

«Overall, we had a great trip. There was nothing that lessened the enjoyment we had together as a family. However, there were a few things that may be normal in a mountain log cabin, but perhaps could be upgraded. There were a lot of stairs into the house and guest house and only one bedroom on the main floor of main house so seniors had a harder time of it. Cleaning was hit and miss. Large cobwebs in places in the house, large soaking tubs in guest house were dirty. Some things did ...

It is such a unique home....very spacious, with great flow for both together time & private get-away-from -it-all "me" time, both indoors & out. «Excellent location for visiting Biltmore Estate and Ashville. I own a B & B and know what goes into preparation for guests, maintenance of facilities, and providing hospitality! We were having problems starting gas fireplace (as we are old) and owner was there within minutes. This lovely home has my highest recommendation!»
