Sharon and Bob are great host. I love the homemade cookies and the bottled wine that they provided the home was very charming and relaxing. We loved the bird feeder. We will definitely be staying there in the future.

Peace, quiet and well stocked
The house is immaculate & well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the setting is serene, the hosts are great communicators, hospitable, flexible and generous. The ~30 minute drive into Syracuse is indisputably offset by all the area and hosts offer - do yourself a favor and stay here!

Our stay here was fabulous. The hosts were very accommodating, generous and made us feel at home. They left us welcoming gifts upon our arrival. Communications were great. Response time for fast. We had the opportunity to meet one of the owners and I feel I have made a friend. We will be back to this beautiful again. I can wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful Christmas family gathering
We enjoyed a wonderful 5 day day at this property. From the initial contact with the owners couldn’t have been more accommodating and responsive. From the moment we walked into the home we felt so relaxed as the property was immaculate, and the owners Bob and Sharon left us a lovely Christmas card, homemade cookies, and a bottle of wine, and even left us bacon, eggs, and English muffins for our breakfast. There was a decorated Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations and lights which really added to the atmosphere. We had a last-minute change of plans regarding how we would host our annual Christmas Eve festivities with our children and grandchildren, and felt so fortunate to be able to hold the gathering here. The furnishings were so comfortable. Everyone felt as if they were at home. We stayed at many VRBO properties over the years and this was the best experience we have ever had! We will hope to return for another stay!

Great stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this house. We stayed here for a few days while we were visiting the NYS Fair and it was a very convenient location. It is a very peaceful property. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch each day. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the home had everything we could need for our stay. We would definitely stay here again when we visit the Fair again next year.

Perfect for recovery
Lovely home and setting. Hosts were readily available. Comfortable stay. My husband had a kidney transplant and we needed to be near hospital. Our kidney donor stayed with us also. It had plenty of room, comfy beds and all that we could need. It was like a home away from home! Thanks for Sharon and Bob’s hospitality. They went above and beyond!

Family reunion
We had the best time! The house and property were beautiful. Plenty of room for our family gathering. The beds were very comfortable. The front and back porches had plenty of seating for everyone and the views were beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend this home for peace and for family gatherings. It’s only about 5-10 minutes to drive into town. The hospitality of the owners was fabulous! We will be back.

Wonderful Place to Stay
Your stay is like using your friend's or family's home. You will feel very welcomed. It's close to the Seneca River and driving distance to the Finger Lakes and Syracuse area. This is our second time renting Sharon and Bob's home, and it was just as nice as the first time.

Country living at its finest
Bob and Sharon are the most gracious hosts we have ever come across. They are so concerned on how your vacation is and want to make it as perfect as possible. We have stayed with them 2x now and each time it gets better. The tranquility at there house is hard to duplicate or explain. Its like coming home to your childhood home. Amazing home in the country
I have to say this is the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at. The home is beautiful and the views are amazing. Beautiful sunrise from the patio and gorgeous sunset from the backyard. Every room in this house was amazing. It was perfect for entertaining with the grill and bonfire. This house makes you feel like you are right at home. The refrigerator and cabinets were stocked with pretty much anything you needed. The owners were great they responded within minutes to any questions I had. If I could rate more than five stars I would. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property it was hands down the best vacation we’ve had.

Pleasant stay at the country home!
We had a great time staying at this country home for a few nights. The experience would not have been possible without the premium hospitality offered by Bob and Sharon. The house has a nice landscape. It’s also convenient to go to church, shopping, and hiking. The things we enjoyed include bond fire, star gazing, walking around the back yard, and grilling. And my kids loved the cookies! Thank you, Bob and Sharon!
