«We needed an escape to recharge our physical and mental batteries and Joli's Bayou provided the charge that we needed. The home is off the beaten path, but is well worth the journey. The attention to detail, the cleanliness and the accommodations were just great. The host and hostess couldn't have been any nicer. «Our family had a great time at this property. It had everything we needed for a fun, family vacation. Rooms were nice with plenty of beds for our family of five. Kitchen was great with everything we needed. We enjoyed the canoes, paddleboard and dock. We caught several fish from the dock and even more when we rented a pontoon boat for a day. The owner answered a couple questions and provided some local tips. Everything was great!»

«It was such a treat to stay at the French Cottage. The bed was huge and felt like sleeping on a cloud. The window unit kept it cold and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay in the town of Jefferson. The owners were awesome and made sure we were checked in and okay during a bad storm that hit the downtown area. Would definitely recommend this cute little place.»

«We went on a couples trip and it was an easy booking, great communication with the host and super easy check in. When we arrived the house was extremely CLEAN and the house and property were beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! They had everything you could need in the kitchen, beach towels, kayaks as well as a boat ramp to launch our boat and a dock.We enjoyed every moment there and we will be booking again! «From the moment we started talking with Frank and Linda about booking, they were so kind, even wanting to provide a treat for our dog if he was with us. As soon as we walked in the door, the peace and serenity of the place greeted us, along wth homemade goodies (we ate them all over the weekend). The view of the lake was breathtaking. «Super quiet. Parking is a bit tight but manageable. The inside was clean minus a few cobwebs which was expected. Washer and dryer but dryer would not heat up. My only real negative is the outside really needs a good cleaning up. »
