«We’ve stayed here many times as we love the walkable location. Have always overlooked the fact that it is very basic, but now it’s time to update! Had trouble turning the shower on & the handle came right off! The TV was horrible, nothing in the room matches (rug, comforters, walls), there was food in our garbage when we got there .. all fixable things that would make it more pleasant if addressed »

«We had a great stay. The room and the property in general is pretty outdated but is good enough for a quick weekend getaway. The property is connected to the ski slopes so would be perfect for a ski weekend. The breakfast is very limited. The service was good. The TV is not smart, so would recommend that you bring a HDMI cable if you want to stream something. The WiFi is decent. »

«We felt as if we were in Downton Abby. The guest rooms were ALL beautiful. The sitting room and library had nice cosy fire places with soft relaxing music in the background. Each breakfast in the lovely dinning area was a five star event starting with a fresh fruit cup along with delicious pastries and THEN the hot meal was not only artistically displayed but a gastronomical delight…ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. «If you like old houses this one is a gem to explore with a great mix of old and modern. Our family included grandparents attending SUNY Geneseo graduation. House big enough to have space for alone time and to gather for a meal in the great dining room. Highly recommend!!!»
