The newly built complex of Kumo Villas is consisted of 4 private Villas, located in a privileged location, enjoying breathtaking, panoramic views of the southern Cretan sea. Perched on a hillside of the south coast of Rethymno, just 4 km away from the famous sand dunes beach of Agios Pavlos in, Kumo Villas sets a perfect example of minimal design and form, while providing all contemporary amenities to the modern traveller. Interior
Kumo Residence is the crown jewel of the Kumo Villas complex, as it features 3 en-suite bedrooms, 40 sq.m. heated pool and undoubtedly the best views. The ground floor dweling covers 160 m2 and is able to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests.
The south-facing facade is made of floor-to-ceiling glass panels, blurring the boundaries between the inside and the outside, by wrapping the interior in panoramas of blue sea, sky and the horizon. Branded, quality furniture and decor (Flos, Baxter), as well as the industrial-inspired palette (with black, white and grey colours) create a beautiful living space capped by sweeping views across the landscape.
The main entrance welcomes you to an open living space featuring the living room with a cozy corner sofa, 55 HDTV with Netflix, A/C, Marshall bluetooth speaker on your right that offers direct access to the BBQ area and outdoor dining area. On your left the fully equipped kitchen, with built-in appliances, island counter with 4 stools and wine cooler and adjacent indoor dining area for 6, provide all essentials for your self catered holiday. A utility room next to the kitchen offers a washer/dryer as well. The living room, kitchen, as well as two of the bedrooms, open out to the private swimming pool and sunbathing terrace.
Moving on to the bedrooms, the master bedroom boasts a 2,00X2,00 bed, 28 smart TV and open closet, while the second bedroom offers a 1,80X2,00 bed and 32 smart TV and they both offer direct access to the pool terrace, enjoying the magnificent, unobstructed sea vistas. The third bedroom features a 1,80x2,00 bed (which can be also set up as two single beds upon request) and 32 smart TV. All bedrooms feature individually controlled A/C, suitcase stands, vanity, CocoMat mattresses and en-suite bathrooms with in-bedroom basin and separate shower cabin and outdoor seating area with 2 armchairs and coffee table.
Exterior
However, what you will love more in Kumo Residence is the outdoor space, which enjoys unobstructed sea and sunset vistas, that will take your breath away. The 400 m2 exterior is complemented by the stone walls, adding a traditional element to the design and it provides a variety of facilities and relaxing areas, which include:
- A 40 m2, private swimming pool, 1,50 m deep with ladder access. The pool can be heated with an additional daily charge for the entire stay and it requires at least one weeks advance notice. The pool area is equipped with comfortable sun beds, side tables and a poolside shower for your comfort.
- Outdoor cooking station with a portable electric grill, outdoor sink and outdoor dining area for 8 under a pergola.
- Outdoor seating area with corner sofa and coffee table under a pergola.
- At the rear part of the outdoor area, a space designed for fun activities offers a ping pong table, climbing structure, a slide, boxing bag and an additional seating lounge under a pergola, as well as a hammock.
- The Villa has its own entrance and private driving lot with space for 2 cars inside the Villa premises.
- The whole Villa is fully fenced and has a gated entrance offering security and full privacy to our guests.
Important Accommodation Notes:
* Kumo Villas are not recommended for children under 10 years old, as there are not suitable safety measures for small kids.
* To reach Kumo villas, you will cross a small dirt road which is rocky, so it is recommend that you rent a Jeep-like type of car or SUV. Also, the rural area around the Villa can be better explored with such a car (normal cars can access it as well, but they have not to be low).
* We kindly ask all our guests to respect the tranquility and quietness of the area, as well as their neighbours.
