«We were upgraded to the "Villas". the room was nice, but there were no elevators to the second or third floors. When we sat on the balcony the noise from some industrial unit at the RIU Palace was very loud. It would run then shut off for about 30 seconds and turn back on. I would never suggest staying in the "Villas". Not an upgrade.»

«We would highly recommend this resort. We liked staying at the far end of the property. It was quiet and you could walk right into the sea. There were plenty of tiki huts. The food was good. I really liked the cooked to order omelets and green smoothie. All of the restaurants were good. Ginger was our favorite. The room had a very nice balcony that faced the ocean.
