«Stayed here overnight after visiting family in Derby , check in and out easy, friendly reception staff. Very clean accomodation , tea, coffee etc, bath with overhead shower, good thick towels the room was quiet cheap overnight at £43 pub/restaurant on site for breakfast and meals, mcdonalds 2 mins walk away. Good very clean comfortable good stay. »

«Stayed two adults and two kids in the family (quadrupel rooms) for three nights. Although the room was in the basement, it were not stuffy. Large enough for 4 people. Breakfast was not impressive, but not bad either. Friendly staff! Considering the price we were happy about the hotel and would choose to return here. »

«The outdoor bar Gin and Juice was a tropical paradise with fun cocktails and a lovely garden setting. The Japanese restaurant was also excellent. Staff were very friendly and our room was large and beautifully appointed. We'll plan a trip to Cheltenham just to stay in the hotel again!»

«Very smart and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. parking was great. It's a bit of a walk into Whitby mostly because (like the whole area) it is a bit hilly. It is walkable though or just a short car / taxi / bus ride. I would happilly recommend. Parking is okay in Whitby but will cost up to £10 for the day.»

«Overall good place to stay. One suggestion, they should write clearly at the front desk to go next door restaurant for the check-in. I waited good 20 mins, ringing the bell next to the shut-down reception window and no one responded. Finally just walked up to next door to inquire and found that’s where the check-in happens. «The booking was for my elderly mother in law and the team were particularly helpful in assisting her when she looked herself out of her room, providing an additional key for her daughter to take of. They also happily printed off the boarding pass for her return journey.»

«The hotel serves its purpose very well. Clean, spacious rooms with all the items you need for a comfortable stay. Staff are not always on site as they share service with the pub/restaurant, but when they are, they are friendly and helpful. Overall very good experience. »
