«The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. »

I was initially concerned at a lack of information about where we could park, but once we had got to the place to ask, turns out they have a free parking space nearby for guests and we were not rushed out of it when we checked out so we had an extra couple of hours on the harbour with no parking problem. Great to have good air conditioning - gets hot in the attic room - and controllable blinds ...

«Amazing trip at the Sleeping Giant Hotel which is attached to the Pen y cae inn.. We arrived and was greeted by Lee and Claire, they went above and beyond to get us into our room 3 hours before checkin time.. the hotel is clean, modern with no expense spared.. the pub which is attached to the hotel has a lovely restaurant, the food was great and good value for money.. we ended up extending our stay by a extra night as we enjoyed it here that much! «This place is okay. When we first entered, we were impressed but the longer we stayed, the more we realised little things that weren't entirely up to scratch. The entrance to the building look a little battered, for starters. It was hot in the flat, one of the two windows couldn't open (the handle was loose), the carpet was worn, and we blew a fuse practically every time we cooked. Also one of the sockets didn't work. For the price, though, this was a good offer, and we would stay there again. »

«We absolutely love the location, it is extremely peaceful, the scenery is stunning and so perfect location for visiting Whitesands, St. David’s, Newgale and Solva. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and well equipped with a private garden and patio area. Turn left out of the entrance door and you’re along the costal path. We have been staying with Mrs Murphy for the last 24 years, we leave after a week’s stay feeling refreshed and energised and will be booking for next year.»

«We booked very last minute and Karen couldn’t have been more helpful! We needed a base near Snowdon and this is a 15 minute drive away. The site itself is just what you’d hope : a bar ( Friday night was bingo!), a lovely river, the grounds beautifully kept and a well stocked shop with all sorts from loo roll to jewellery! The chalet was spotless, very well equipped and incredibly comfortable, with lovely touches that help to create that home from home feel. Parking was easy in September, we were ...
