The location is not one we were familiar with and found that we loved the real neighborhood feel after long days of sightseeing in the more crowded areas. «Wow! This property was wonderful. Filled with history and art. The garden was so peaceful and absolutely stunning- I couldn’t believe we were in London. «We arrived to this charming neighborhood a bit early before our check-in time. The host allowed us to drop our bags until cleaning was complete. It gave us a couple of hours to wander around and explore the neighborhood. There are lots of charming restaurants, shops and a park all within walking distance. «Loved staying in this lovely mews house. The house was clean and comfortable for three adults and two children. Only a short walk to bus lines to get to the tube. The neighborhood is quiet and close to dining and grocery stores. Check in process was easy and all questions and requests were answered in a timely manner. The owner was very transparent about construction going on next door, which it was but we were out of the place early every day so it didn't really impact us. The townhouse was very much as stated in the VRBO description. We had a couple of issues with things like the dishwasher, but the host was very responsive and even came over 1 evening to help us out. «It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay .»
