"We last visited the Renaissance in 2020 and this visit surpassed all our expectations. To be met on arrival by familiar faces (Chin, thank you for making our visit so special) and as everyone mentions, all of the staff are so amazing, helpful and brilliant. "Loved the layout of the property. Our villa(with plunge pool) was very close to the main pool and we never had any trouble getting a sunbed. Another pool was located right on the beach near the bar/restaurant area-it was perfect. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Tim, she gave us directions, suggested places to eat and really looked after us. There wasn’t anything to dislike and we shall recommend it to others."

"The Tree Tops restaurant was so overrated and overpriced. I have never been so bored having a meal spread out over 2 hours 20 minutes. The hotel is not friendly for elderly or disabled clients. There are so many trip hazards getting into your room or moving around the onsite restaurants."

"Small boutique resort. Stayed for a couple of nights in April ‘24. The exterior is beautifully landscaped and what a pool overlooking the beach! It was not that busy so could always get a lounger. Happy hour specials at the pool and a wonderful breakfast. Located on the quieter side of Chaweng beach, but walkable to the central area. Had a ground floor room with a comfortable bed. "I love this place. It’s very clean, bed is comfortable, staffs are friendly. Stayed here with a toddler, the hotel is family friendly. Short walking distance to Lamai street market is a plus. We stayed for 5 nights, and can easily stayed for 3 weeks. I will definitely return to this hotel. I usually get bad allergy from mold or dampness, and I never took my allergy medicine while staying at this hotel, because the room was spotless clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
