«Super shout out to the poolside lifeguards, they were all completely ‘on it’ with regards to pool safety and safeguarding. All staff we came across were super friendly and helpful. We had a caravan quite near to the amenities so it was very noisy, one night it was going on until 2am which wasn’t ideal however understandable being close to the clubhouse and bar etc. caravan was a superior and was only 1 year old! «The stay at Balmoral was exactly what we needed. Clean and good facilities with a superb breakfast spread laid on and clear instructions throughout. Unfortunately we were doing a huge bike ride early on the Saturday morning and couldn’t take advantage of all of the food provided. The checking in and checking out process for us was ideal given our late arrival and early check out and took a lot of anxiety away from the whole ordeal. «The settings is stunning but unfortunately the accommodation urgently needs updating.The plates and cups are chipped,the cooker must be 30 years old ,and takes a long time to heat up .The TV must be 19 inch ,the lounge suite sinks in at the back causing sore backs .There is no towel rails to hang your towels.The main bedroom,well the dressing table is a shelf ,there is no shelves just a wardrobe to hang clothes .The duvet is very thin and old and the cover is faded and polyester, horrible.My ...

«Lovely stay in the tree lodge, would highly recommend! Can get pretty dark though so advise to take torches for walking and also in the lodge. Plenty of candles and tea lights provided by the venue though, and the complementary s’mores kit was great! »

«Absolutely loved our Caravan stay. This was a major highlight of our 3 week trip. We loved being so close to the beach and a short drive to St. Ives for a day of shopping and a true Cornish pasty (well half of one because the seagulls are savages!). We took our 6 month old son for his very first swim at the pool, which was a great memory. «Nice friendly staff, site very well kept, properties were a bit tired but nice and clean on arrival but no towels are supplied so suggest bringing your own, bed's are not made up and you are expected to strip them on the day you leave, the cooker was not easy to work as it was old and most of the marks on the dials had worn off. «OK - we enjoyed our stay but a couple of things could have been improved. Our caravan had excellent views over Combe Martin Bay and we enjoy the walking that Combe Martin gives us. It's steep and hard work. We walked to Ilfracombe via Watermouth Bay and also up to Little Hangman and Big Hangman. Parking was tricky both getting in and out of the bay next to the caravan. Far too tight and not helped by a van parked next door that impacted turning circle. Disappointingly beds were not made up. ...
