The area was much less chaotic than other areas of town such as near the louvre. Tons of affordable great food around. Was our first time in Paris with my fiancé and this hotel for the bill for our needs. There is only one small elevator big enough for a medium sized couple with backpack on. "We liked the place and the room very much. Great service and very nice breakfast service to get the day going with a quick bite at the time you request it. I would only suggest to do a deep clean and some maintenance on the bathroom / shower. Plus real soap bars are much nicer than the liquid hair and body wash."

"If you're looking for an affordable place to sleep in walking distance of major attractions like the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre, then Hotel Malar is perfect! If you intend to spend time in your hotel room beyond sleeping, then it's probably not for you. The rooms are small and the building is on the older side, but the bed was comfortable. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. It's not for everyone, but it's a great deal if you intend to spend most of your time out and about. "

"This is a lovely place to stay in one of the best areas in Paris- the Rue Cler area. So many dining options and so close to the Eiffel Tower so if you have children it will be very convenient. The staff at Relais Bosquet are lovely and very helpful. The decor is lovely but the hotel can use some updating- replace the carpet with hardwood flooring for example. "
